Fuser Error 50  HP Laserjet Enterprise M600, M601, M602, M603 Printer

50 Fuser error To continue turn off then on

Classification (50.W Fuser Error)

The fuser has encountered an error.

W = fuser error code, X = fuser mode,

Advised solution

Fuser Error 50.2

Fuser warm up failure

  1. Reattach the connection (J128) between the fuser and the DC controller PCA.
  2. Turn the product off. Take out the fusing assembly and then reinstall fuser assembly. In case the error continues to persist, try to replace the fusing assembly.
  3. In the event the error continues, replace the low-voltage power supply.

Fuser Error 50.3

Low temperature thermistor 1

  1. Reinstall the fuser. Check the connection (J128) between the fuser assembly as well as the printer. If it's defective, try replacing the fusing assembly.
  2. Rejoin the connection (J82) on the DC controller PCA.
  3. change out the fixing assembly.
  4. Reattach the connection (J62) on the low-voltage power supply PCA.
  5. Should your error remains, try to replace the low-voltage power supply.

Fuser Error 50.4

High temperature thermistor 1

  1. Reinstall the fusing assembly. Look at the connection (J128) between the fuser and the hp printer. If it is stressed, try replacing the fixing assembly.
  2. Reseat the connection (J82) within the DC controller PCA.
  3. try replacing the fixing assembly.
  4. In the event the error continues, change the low-voltage power supply.

Fuser Error 50.6

Drive circuit fault

  1. Check the power source. Ensure that the power supply conform to printer requirement.

Notice:: In the event that power source fails to meet the power frequency criteria of 40 to 70Hz, the fuser assembly temperature control does not work correctly and causes this error.

  1. Rejoin connections J51, J52, J53, and J162 and DC controller PCA connectors J85, J95, and J96.
  2. If your error remains, replace the low-voltage power supply.

Printer Repair Maintenance Kit and fusers available.

Fuser Error 50.10

Low temperature thermistor 2

  1. Reseat the fusing assembly. Check out the connector (J128) between the fuser and the hp device. If it is broken, try to replace the fuser.
  2. Reattach the connection (J62) within the low-voltage power supply PCA.
  3. In the event that error carries on, replace the low-voltage power supply.

Fuser Error 50.11

High temperature thermistor 2

  1. Reseat the fuser assembly. Examine the connector (J128) in between the fuser and the hp printer. If it is stressed, try replacing the fuser assembly.
  2. Reconnect the connection (J62) is on the low-voltage power supply PCA.
  3. Should your error remains, replace the low-voltage power supply.

Fuser Error 50.12

Fuser pressure release mechanism failure

  1. Reconnect the fuser assembly connector (J128) and the DC controller PCA connection (J62).
  2. Verify the fuser pressure release sensor flag. If the lever is damaged or not correctly functioning, change out the fusing assembly.
  3. Reattach the fuser motor connection (J221) and the DC controller PCA connector (J89).
  4. Try the Component Test item within Troubleshooting menu to test the fuser motor. If the motor breaks the test, swap out the fuser motor.
  5. In the event that error continues exchange the fusing assembly.
